Spoils of Oil

Not a day goes by that I am not reminded of the high gas prices. Whether I read it in the newspaper, hear it on the news, or see it at the gas station, it’s hard to ignore the price of gas. It has become a platform for the 2008 Presidential candidates and also a staple joke for comedians everywhere.
I don’t know about you, but I seem to be driving my car less. I try my best to plan out where I’m going and also find ways to carpool. I even let my gas tank gauge hit “E” before pulling up to the pump, which is unusual for me. It’s amazing how habits change when money, or lack thereof, is involved.
What changes have you been making because of the gas prices? How are gas prices affecting the way you spend your hard earned cash this summer?
